Our team is growing and we are seeking an Account Director to lead one of our significant and complex client relationships.
What you’ll be doing
You will take ownership of a strategically important account characterised by complexity and evolving priorities. Success in this role requires sound judgement, resilience and the ability to bring order to ambiguity.
You will lead a Marketing Coordinator and work cross-functionally with internal delivery specialists to orchestrate integrated marketing delivery. While revenue and cost accountability sit within the remit, the core mandate is delivery excellence, governance and sustained client confidence.
This is a leadership role that exists to create alignment, momentum and trust. To be successful in this role you will guide the client – not the other way around.
What you’ll bring
Experience in a related role, with specific experience in direct & digital marketing. Customer obsession.
Previous experience working within a marketing team or agency in a fast-paced environment. You are adept at bringing clarity where others see ambiguity and provide confident direction.
Strong experience managing client relationships and acting as the day-to-day lead across multiple stakeholders.
Proven ability to plan and oversee the delivery of marketing activity from brief through to execution, and to translate complex or evolving briefs into clear, structured and actionable plans.
Strong organisational skills, including establishing effective ways of working, reporting and governance.
Commercial acumen, with experience managing scope, budgets or account performance.
Experience leading or mentoring junior team members and aligning teams around shared goals.
Ability to build trusted, client relationships grounded in credibility and sound thinking.
A tertiary marketing qualification (or equivalent experience).
